In the heart of the city

Neighbourhood description

The neighbourhood is a surprisingly quiet area, despite its super-close proximity to the city centre. It is mostly residential and quite ‘leafy’ in parts. There are churches, pubs, coffee shops, corner shops and a small riverside park (with children’s play equipment) – all within 100-300 metres of the property. A 5 min pedestrianised walk takes you over the river and into the city centre.

Getting around

There is private, dedicated, off-street parking for one car at the property (a rare thing in the city centre!) There is also an affordable, 24 hour, multi-storey car park 320 metres from the property (St Andrews multi-storey car park, NR3 3AT). There’s a Beryl e-scooter bay 160 metres away for over 18’s with a driving license to hire from. The nearest bus stop is 160 metres away, and Norwich is also well served by local taxi companies (download ABC Taxi Norwich app to easily book a taxi).

Where is Norwich?

Norwich is within easy reach of London, Cambridge and the Norfolk coast.

Norwich is by the river Wensum and is approx. 100 miles (160km) north-east of London. There are direct trains from Norwich train station to London Liverpool Street with a journey time of 120 minutes. Or take a direct train to Cambridge with a journey time of 80 mins.
